A Bat of Many Faces

Bryoney decided she wanted to be a bat for Halloween this year, so I did my best to find a costume. All the ready made seemed to be winged witches or bat girls (which don't have much resemblance to a real bat), so I bought some black felt, tights, leotard, and headband -- and voila! Here is my bat and her many faces at her Grandma's Halloween Party:

A serene Bat.

Flying Bat scanning for prey.

Growling Bat -- I don't think they actually growl, but Bry was very convincing.

Happy Bat.

Patient Bat awaiting her take at Grandma's house.

And most terrifying of all...the sugar crazed, fearsome Bat. For everyone's safety, Bry was transformed into a PJ clad little girl very soon after this photo was taken.

Quite the Halloween spread -- yum.
Mummifying Grandpa. Everyone won playing this game.
