This has been a magical holiday season. I love seeing it through my daughter's eyes. One of the highlights was meeting Santa Claus himself. There was no hesitation sitting on his lap or letting him know what she wanted for Christmas...after all, she already wrote him a letter. Santa was wonderful and he brought her everything she asked him for. She confessed this afternoon that she heard his sleigh bells after she went to bed on Christmas Eve. When Bry woke up on Saturday, I asked her who's birthday it was, to which she replied, "Jesus'." I said, "That's right, so it's Christmas." We went down the stairs and had a great time opening and playing with toys, but I am so grateful for the best gift that was given long ago in Bethlehem.
Here are some photos of our Christmas time:

Prepping cookies for Santa.
The cookie that Bry left for the big man himself.
Bry wanted to make reindeer cupcakes for Santa, so all the cousins got creative.
Twas the night before Christmas...and these three cousins managed to stay on the "Nice List."
Christmas morning after opening a few dress up presents.
The scene from upstairs - I guess 20 "nice" people can amass a lot of loot.
Merry Christmas!

looks like a fun christmas, love the picture of bry making cookies for santa..and love her note.
I see that the cousins all have their christmas morning together... How do you arrange that so that it is equal? or do you at all... I stress about equality...not wanting anyone to feel short changed. Plus, some families have one big present and other lots of little ones..... how do you do it?
